Agreement and provider
These terms govern the FieldHours website and any course purchased from FieldHours Education LLC, doing business as FieldHours. By creating an enrollment, accepting the learner statement, or using a paid course, you agree to these terms.
Approval and credit
FieldHours will not accept payment or promise continuing-education credit until the applicable provider and course approvals and any required exemption determination are active. The checkout page will identify the occupation, jurisdiction, regulator-issued provider or sponsor identifier, course or program identifier, credit hours, total price, and completion requirements.
Credit depends on the learner meeting every stated requirement and providing accurate legal name and professional credential information. A purchase alone does not create credit.
Learner account and course use
Enrollment is for one learner and may not be shared, transferred, copied, resold, automated, or used to complete work for another person. The learner is responsible for account access, accurate identity and professional credential information, and following the timed-page and assessment rules.
Course completion
Each FieldHours course states its own credit hours, timed instructional minutes, page sequence, knowledge checks, identity fields, and regulator-specific requirements before enrollment.
- Texas HVAC / ACR — 8-hour continuing education: 40 timed instructional pages, 400 active instructional minutes, manual advancement between pages, a completed response to every guided knowledge-check question; scores are retained but do not prevent advancement, and a complete learner identity record.
Each course displays its assessment policy before enrollment. Administrative time, payment, breaks, and inactive browser time do not count as instruction.
Availability and updates
FieldHours may correct errors, maintain security, or make changes required by a regulator. Material changes to an approved course will be handled under the applicable approval rules. If FieldHours cannot deliver a purchased course, the refund policy applies.
Acceptable use and enforcement
FieldHours may suspend access for fraud, account sharing, attempted timer manipulation, interference with the site, false professional credential information, or other misuse. FieldHours will preserve relevant records and apply the refund policy and applicable law when access is suspended.
Disclaimers and limits
Course material is educational and does not replace legal advice, a regulator’s instruction, manufacturer requirements, a permit authority, or job-specific professional judgment. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
